The story of Michael Elliot

I'm writing out all my stories that lead them to getting accepted into camp A.X.I.O.M. Each camper had some sort of thing that made their life terrible, some worse than other's. This is Michael's story...

In the beginning Michael had a pretty normal life. A father and mother who loved him, a little sister, all living average lives. One day though, that changed. His father and sister, Hannah, were going to go on a road trip, just the two of them. Be for they left Hannah came up to Michael and told him, “This will be the last time we see each other. Please take care of mom.” Thinking she was just being melodramatic Michael ignored this and just told her good bye. The next day, after they had left, the police had called to inform them that a man and child had died in a car accident. A semitruck , going 80 mph, had ignored the stoplights and crashed right into them, killing them almost instantly. Devastated at this news, Michael’s mother went into a deep depression. Michael, deciding to be strong for the both of them, tried everything he could do to keep the house going. He did laundry, cleaned, cooked, made sure his mom got up and went to work so that the bills were paid, and he did all of this at the age of nine. Eventually his mother got herself together, moving more, talking, going out of the house, and more importantly smiling. On the day that the two family members died though, both would cry till there were no more tears. Michael’s friends never mention his father or sister to him, knowing that it would only cause the grief to surge back. Some days, Michael can still hear his mother’s sobs as she wishes for her husband to come back. And of course, his sister’s words still haunt him. Leaving him always wondering what would’ve happened had he not let the two leave that day…

Once again, short, but like i said last time, it's just a rought draft
