More for me than you...

This is a sort of outline for my story that's more for my remembrance. I'd like to delete the drafted text messages on which it's currently on. So, if you don't want any spoilers then DO NOT READ!!!

After Michael's room is all cleaned up he rides his bike down to the mall where he meets up with Will and Carla. They hang out for a while, say their good-byes, give Mike some silly presents and then, a few hours later, and go their separate ways. When Mike returns home he packs up and, when he looks for something under his bed he, instead, finds and old family photo. You then learn Michael's whole little story thing. Michael wakes up early the next morning and gets on a bus that will take him to the camp's location. He ends up sitting next to a boy named Chris. They talk, share stories, and then you hear a few of mike's thoughts on the other people on the bus. Mike and Chris get off laughing and grab their bags. Mike sees someone struggling to hold on to, what must be their younger brother's, hand while carrying multiple bags. So Mike is a gentle man, goes over, introduces himself, finds out the girls name is Claire and he helps her carry some of her bags. Then Mike, Claire, Chris, and Max walk over to the entrance of the campsite. There, with quite a few others, they are greeted by the cam director. She briefly explains what is about to happen and then tells them to line up. Each person goes through a sort of machine placed in the very front of the camp. Mike is the last to go. When he gets out he feels very odd and his head feels as though it were about to burst. Chris is now wearing sunglasses, Max looks like he has to pee, and Claire seems to be fading in and out but mike just blames that on his headache. The Camp director talks to them again and tells them, in more detail, what had just happened. They all had a certain chromosome, hidden within their DNA, activated and now each one of them possessed a power of a sort. This causes much chatting. The CD quiets them down and puts them into their new cabin groups. The new campers are lead by their consolers to the cabin in which they shall be staying in. Blake is Mike's counselor. He first helps Claire with her bags, although she said she'd be fine, and then finds his cabin. He gets the bunk on the far left wall next to the crack in the cabin. Great... Once they've all settled in, everyone new meets up in the field where they meet the cd again and then are given a tour of the camp grounds. They are warned never to go into the forest on the other side of the bridge. It is forbidden. They are then told that it is free time and to do any of the activities they had just been shown and that dinner would be at six. Mike makes a quick trip to the bathroom and then goes to seek out Claire. He finds her surrounded by some older looking guys, all sort of bothering her, so mike, not thinking things through, goes straight up to them and tells them to back off. So of course the leader of the "gang" starts fighting with him. It starts out as a fist fight just between mike and the "leader" but then soon the leader guy shoots lightning bold out of his hands and smiles, knowing that he'll be winning. Claire freaks out and somehow puts and force field around Mike, who is being unresponsive. His eyes glow and suddenly he had the leader's powers. So he starts shooting lightning bolts back. The other guys get in on the fight, but mike is somehow better than they all are. Finally the leader, realizing defeat, says some lame excuse and walks off. Mike and Claire are left breathing heavily and utterly confused. What had they just done? For the rest of free time they experiment with each other's powers. The bell rings and they go down to the mess hall. At dinner they are told that all new campers must meet in the gym early next morning to demonstrate their powers to the cd. They leave dinner and go to fireside. At fireside they sing a couple of songs and each camper introduces themselves briefly. Then they all go off to bed...except for mike's cabin. You see, Blake had decided to play a prank on cabin 2, he said it's a sort of ongoing thing between the cabins. So everyone dresses up in black, and sneak outside. Before they actually go into the cabin though, mike has an idea. He tells them that he can make them all invisible. So, he stands outside using his power, and everyone else goes inside the cabin. Just a few minutes later the counselor from cabin 3 spots Michael while walking back from the bathroom and comes over to him demanding to know what he's doing. Mike makes a funny comment, somehow convinces her to leave while still trying to concentrate on keeping the guys invisible. The boys come out of the cabin, grinning broadly and then rush back to their own. The next morning the entire camp is woken up by the shouts coming from cabin 2. So, the cd, furious, takes away breakfast. The cabins do their cabin clean up and then head over to the gym. Each camper demonstrates his/her power. Mike is the last to go and demonstrates every power he had seen so far which made some jealous and others envious. The camp director decides that because he can do almost any power that he should train at each station she has set up to help control powers. Mike agrees and starts at the station Chris and Claire are at. After it they go to lunch. Blake fills in his cabin on what they needed to know about each person at the camp. Who to avoid, who gives good advice, who's a rat, ect. After everyone's finished up lunch, they head to the field for a field game. The prize for winning is being off dish duty. Cabin 1 wins. stuff happens (must figure out later). Short chapter on the cd's master plan, in which you learn of alpha and omega (Altessa and Oliver).

And that's as far as I've gotten. I shall update it constantly when I can get farther. Any ideas on what comes next

Just Some Ideas...

Just a few ideas that I may add into my story at one point. I haven’t uploaded in quite a while so I thought I’d post these. (They are in no particular order)

~*~ ~*~ ~*~

I felt the cold from the floor seep through my clothes, and into my body, replacing what little hope I had left. I was locked up. Never too be found like everyone else in here. Eventually, I’d shrivel up and die, alone in a grey, dark cell.

“Gall I miss Claire,” I said out loud. I really truly did. The way her chestnut curls bounced as she walked. The way her blue eyes sparkled when we talked. Playing the piano, just the two of us. And her smell…

I heard a noise and quickly pulled myself out of my thoughts. I walked over to the cage door and pressed my face against its cold bars.

Nothing.

With the dim lights the only thing I could see was the girl caged opposite of me. She was staring at me with these hungry looking eyes. Eyes that were…red? She licked her dry, cracked lips and shakily stood up. She sort of limped over to her cage bars and began to squeeze out, keeping eye contact with me all the while.

An arm was out.

I backed up into the right corner of my cell, pressing myself to the wall, wishing I still had my powers. The girl was so skinny that getting through didn’t seem a big problem. Her pure white skin practically glowed in the dark. With her boney, dead looking face, and her long greasy black hair that clung to her face, she was the very image of death.

Half of her was out.

“Shit!” I thought. I looked around, hoping that maybe, just maybe, there might be a way out. But no, nothing…

Just one leg left.

Someone in the cell next to mine was shouting, yelling, “Come back! Come back! Please, take me with you!” I thought that odd, but ignored it. The girl was almost out. I didn’t know what was going to happen, just that I was screwed if she got to me. Then next thing I knew there was a hand on my shoulder and another covering my mouth, muffling my shout of surprise, but…I saw nothing. That smell though…so very…familiar…

Claire!

She removed her small petit hands from my mouth and shoulder and whispered, “Came to break you out jailbird,” in my ear, hugging me tightly.

“It’s times like these that really make me love having you as a friend,” I said hugging back. “Now, let’s get out of this hell hole!” she put her hand on my shoulder and we began walking backwards towards the wall.

But we were too slow. The red eyed girl was out of her cell and in mine. She lifted up one boney hand and pointed her finger right at Claire and me. We both went rigged, knowing we should move but feeling like deer in headlights. With a flick of her wrist warm blood spurted out of both of us, Claire’s splattering on my back, then going right through me. We collapsed.

My vision began to narrow and blur, but I could’ve sworn I say the pale girl gain color to her face. She smiled wickedly and went over to the next cage. The poor guy’s screams rang throughout the building.

“So this…is what the camp director…meant by some kids… being too…dangerous,” I whispered between breaths. I had lot too much blood. I was going to die. We both were.

“Hold on,” Claire said weakly. “I think I can get us out…”

She wiggled out from under me and got up on her hands and knees. She grabbed a hold of my shirt and dragged us through the wall, out to the forest. When we were all the way out she let go and laid down, breathing raggedly. The grass and dirt stuck to the blood that covered us, and thankfully we didn’t have to worry about wounds getting infected because whatever the hell that chick had done to us, it left no mark.

“Where’s Blake…When you need him…” We laughed breathlessly and then passed out.

A letter? I grabbed my pocket knife from my bag, sat on my bunk, made sure my towel was tightly wrapped around my waist, and sliced the letter open. It said the following:

Dear Mr. Elliot,

We are sorry to inform you that the your mother has/have died in a flight on one of our planes. All belongings were brought back to residence. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Our regards,
Faircrest Airlines

Time froze and I began to feel light headed. My mother was…dead? What? How was this possible? Why would it happen while I was away? Why now? Why at all? NO! It couldn’t be true…

When I was just about to break out in tears someone knocked on the cabin door. I knock usually meant a girl since guys usually just barge right on in. I tried as best I could to swallow the lump in my throat and, with a cracked voice, said, “Come in.”

It was a puffy-eyed, blotchy faced Claire clutching a crumpled up piece of paper. I got up off my bead and, tightly holding onto my towel, walked over and put a hand on her shoulder. “You okay Claire?”

“She took a deep breath and said, “Judy, the lady who ran my orphanage, died. She was in some sort of plane crash,” She looked up at me, “Michael, she was like a mom to me. My other mother…” She walked over to Blake’s cot and sat down. I sat down next to her.

Silence.

“Oh Michael!” She said finally. Her face fell onto my shoulder and she began sobbing uncontrollably. Shy, quiet, strong Claire was crying on my shoulder. Wrapped my arms around her and just let her get it all out. I felt a little bit self-conscious because I was only in a towel so of course my face was bright red.

She removed her face from me a while later, looking worse than she had when she first walked in.

“Was she on a Faircrest Airlines plane?” I asked, trying not to cry with her.

She just nodded, looking empty and broken.

“Well, if it makes you feel any better, my mom died on a Faircrest Airlines plane too. Here, look,” I handed her the letter.

“It won’t make me feel better. Vanessa’s parent’s died too on the same plane…” she took the letter from me.

“What?” I said, bewildered.

“Ya, her, Katharine, Stephenie, and a few others…” She blinked a few times and looked up from the letter, at me. A slight smile tugged at the corners of her lips. She grabbed my arm and bolted out the door, dragging me stumbling behind her.

“Where are we going?” I shouted to her as we passed the other cabins.

“To the mess hall! The other’s have to know about this. I thought it was a crazy coincidence at first but now I realize that it can’t be. There’s no chance in hell that everyone’s parents could’ve died on the same plane. How did I not realize this before! It’s so freakin’ obvious!”

“I dunno,” I was running out of breath and my feet were hurting like crazy. Little pebbles were getting stuck in my feet.

“I’m just so glad right now Mike! They might all still be alive! This could just be some sick joke, designed to distract us or something. Gall, for some silly reason I could just kiss you right now!” She laughed as she jumped over a tree root sticking out of the ground.

“Hehe…yeah. Um, Claire?” My towel that I had be desperately clutching onto had fallen off and now I felt a breeze where I’d rather not.

“Yes?”

“Don’t look back, but could you turn my lower half invisible? My towel sort of, er, fell off,” My ear were turning bright red with embarrassment.

“Oh! Um, ya sure,” She moved her wrist a fraction and everything below my naval turned invisible.

“Thanks…”

“Sure. Let’s just think of it as a repayment for letting my cry on your shoulder. Sorry you had to see that by the way,” She and I ducked underneath a tree branch.

“No problem. That’s what friends are for, right?”

“Oh yes Michael. Friends are there to have their shoulder’s cried on.” She snorted.

I sighed. “You know what I mean.”

“I do.”
